FROM THE PRESIDENT

Service as your College of Forest Resources Alumni Association President provides me with wonderful opportunities to participate in the life of the College. Since the last newsletter, I have represented you at the College's annual scholarship luncheon, the College's own graduation ceremonies (held the day before the University's larger ceremony) and as a member of the College's Visiting Committee. Due to scheduling conflicts, I was unable to participate in a meeting of the College's Capital Campaign Committee (I will be in attendance at its July meeting). My thanks to Alan Randall, 2nd Vice President, who represented CFRAA at the UW Alumni Association Club Council meeting June 2.

CFR is a busy and vibrant place. The students who graduated this month with bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees take their place alongside alumni with the finest credentials in their fields. Together, we are making the world a better place by working with the forest environment, the products it produces and the experiences it provides. I am proud to be a UWCFR alum. Please join me in showing your support for your College by joining the UWAA and participating in UWCFRAA events. The future will be a brighter place because of you.
