Martin Prehm, EE ’73, MBA ‘75

In June Martin Prehm retired from a 30+ year career with the Federal Government working as a Project Manager for the US Navy. Martin is shifting gears and working/volunteering for King's West Schools in Bremerton as a substitute teacher and teaching assistant. While the former career was for the defense of the country, the latter one is to help stimulate young minds for our future defense.
Linda German Wold, MBA ‘81
Linda is married with two children, Henry, age 16,a sophomore at Bishop Blanchet High School; and Keely, 12, a seventh grader at Villa Academy. She works part-time at Seattle Prep when she isn't volunteering at her children's schools or taking Spanish classes.
Steven Buhaly. MBA ‘84
Longview Fibre announced that Steven J. Buhaly will be the new chief financial officer. Buhaly, 49, will take the titles of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He served as chief financial officer for Planar Systems Inc., a Beaverton-based electronic-monitor company, from 2000 to 2005.
Buhaly was also Planar's chief operating officer from 2004 to 2005.
Before joining Planar, Buhaly spent 15 years with Tektronix Inc., which makes electronic test and measurement equipment.

Rehm is currently starting his 5th year at America's Health Insurance Plans in DC. It is fascinating work and environment. Rehm is working in public health, emergency preparedness, prevention, chronic care, health disparities, and all manner of health policy.
Dana is now the SVP at NPR. Colin - 23 (in 2nd and 3rd grade during the MBA program) is now completing his MPH in Epidemiology at the UW. Amelia (13) is an 8th grader and one helluva soccer player. Our new border collie Clary works hard for us every day. Come visit!
David Clarke, MBA ‘96
Clarke was recently named Vice President of New Holland Agricultural Business in North America. In his new position, Clarke oversees the sales, marketing and support functions of New Holland agricultural products in North America.
Lawrence Russell, Pacific Coast Banking School
Russell has been named vice president and senior trust officer for Bank of Stockton's Trust and Investment Group. Russell has more than 30 years of experience working with trusts. He began his banking career with Wells Fargo and since then has served in banks in Santa Cruz, Palo Alto and San Mateo.
Russell holds a bachelor's degree in economics from University of San Francisco and a master's degree in administration from University of California, Irvine. He is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at University of Washington. He also is a certified trust and financial adviser and a certified financial planner.
Russell served the U.S. Army as a captain, with tours in Germany, Vietnam and throughout the United States.
