We Need Your Help To Stay On Top Of The World

Over the last several years the accounting faculty at the University of Washington has consistently been rated as one of the top five research faculties in the world.  We need your help to stay on top of the world.  Please consider participating in a research study on using financial information to make decisions. All experience levels needed.

Two members of the accounting faculty, Jane Kennedy and Frank Hodge, specialize in investigating how individuals make decisions using financial information. Jane and Frank are planning to conduct several studies in this area over the next several years. Regardless of your level of experience, if you use financial information to make decisions, or invest in individual debt (e.g., bonds) or equity (e.g., stocks) securities, please consider participating. This is a unique way to give to the University of Washington Business School by helping advance the School’s research mission.

Jane and Frank are currently compiling a list of individuals who are willing to consider participating once or twice a year. Submitting your name does not commit you to participate, it merely indicates that you will consider participating when they conduct their next study. They will contact you (via email) and you can make your decision then. Participating in a study typically takes 30 – 45 minutes and studies are completed in the comfort of your own home or office at your convenience. To insure confidentiality, any data Jane and Frank gather will only be disclosed in aggregate; never at the individual level. All participants will receive an executive summary of the study’s results.
