    UW / Pacific NW Tech Career Fair
    Alumni looking for new career opportunities can schedule "face time" with employers in such fields as engineering, information technology, sales, business management and manufacturing at the UW / PacificNWTech Career Fair, Thursday, July 20, from 3 - 7 p.m. in the Mary Gates Hall Commons on the UW Seattle campus.

    Husky Day at the Mariners
    Saturday, August 5, 2006, first pitch is 1:05 p.m.
    Celebrate the Dawg days of summer at Safeco Field as the Mariners take on the Oakland A's. Join your fellow alumni for a special Husky day at the ballpark with promotions such as discounted tickets, a drawing for a luxury suite and other surprises. The first 20,000 fans will receive purple and gold Mariners caps.

    Husky Summer Weekend
    The Husky Nation will show its pride nationwide during the Third Annual Husky Summer Weekend, August 11-13. There's events around the country, plus a golf tournament and barbecue in the Seattle area.

    Keep your UW E-Mail Account after Graduation
    As an alumnus, you will keep your UW ID and password automatically. There are three options for keeping your UW e-mail account:

    1. As a mail forwarding address only. Does not include disk space for storing e-mail. To forward mail received by your UW e-mail address to another e-mail address, log in to http://uwnetid.washington.edu.
    2. Sign up via MyUW.net for a FREE e-mail account with 2MB of space.
    3. Sign up for a Premium MyUW.net e-mail account and receive 1GB of space, Web publishing and more.

    Updating your contact information has never been easier. Make sure you receive all of the Business School's publications, invitations to events throughout the year and any breaking news involving the school. By updating your information it helps us keep our records current as well.

    Berger Dodge, MBA '98
    The Todd Shipyard Corporation Board of Directors has elected Berger A. Dodge as the Company's new Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer effective June 30, 2006. Dodge has been with the Company since 2003 serving most recently as its Manager of Planning and Financial Analysis. Prior to joining Todd, Dodge worked as a Senior Associate with a private investment firm in Bellevue, Washington after having spent several years in the operations group of Tower Group International in Seattle, Washington.

    Andrew Weber, MBA '01
    Andrew has completed his first book, "60 Hikes within 60 Miles: Seattle" from Menasha Ridge Press, co-authored with Bryce Stevens. The guidebook will be on the shelves of local book stores and outdoor stores in early June. Email Andrew at andreww@hillclimbmedia.com.

    Ambrose Bittner, MBA '04
    Since graduating in 2004, Bittner has started a travel company called Red Lantern Journeys (www.redlanternjourneys.com). The focus is on arranging travel and tours to Asia, including India, China, and Thailand. Bittner has also attempted to climb Mt. Everest in the spring of 2005.     Greg Raece, MBA '06
    This spring Raece is an evening instructor at North Seattle College in their Communication, Business and Media department. He teaches the Communication 290 course (Media Project Management Practicum) and has the opportunity to work with both traditional community college students and non-traditional students who are involved in North Seattle's Worker Retraining program.
