    Young Alumni Happy Hour

    Do you have news you’d like to share? Submit a class note. Tell us what major events have happened in your life: a new job, marriage, children, retirement, advanced degrees, you name it. 

    Benjamin Forrest, BA '72
    On March 10, 2006 Alaska Airlines announced the election of Benjamin Forrest as vice president of flight operations. Forrest will oversee the airline's flight operations, pilot training and flight dispatch departments.

    Steven Harfst, BA ‘86
    On January 26, 2006 InterGlobe Enterprises Limited named Harfst as Chief Operating Officer of "IndiGo," its low-cost airline subsidiary, effective immediately.  Harfst will be responsible for all of the operational functions of IndiGo.  Prior to joining IndiGo, Harfst was with North American Airlines as chief operating officer, where he was responsible for worldwide operations of the carrier.

    L. Alan Davis, BA ‘91
    Davis joined D.A. Davidson & Co’s institutional research team on March 8, 2006 to cover the technology sector, with a focus on digital media technology.  Davis joins D.A. Davidson & Co. from McAdams Wright Ragen, Inc. in Seattle, where his work focused on the software, networking and semiconductor sectors

    David Gravenkemper, BA ‘93
    Gravenkemper was named University of Washington’s director of ticket sales and customer service on January 25, 2006.  Gravenkemper comes to the UW after having spent the last 15 months as a business development executive with the Seattle Sonics & Storm. A third-generation Husky and a 1989 graduate of nearby Seattle Prep, Gravenkemper and his wife, Stephanie, have a son, Jack. They reside in Seattle.
