UW Business School - Coming Soon to a City Near You!

Dean James Jiambalvo has stepped up outreach efforts to UW MBA alumni in various places around the U.S. and around the world.

In November, Dean Jiambalvo greeted alumni at events in Seoul, Taipei and Tokyo.  The Dean greeted a large alumni contingent in Seoul of approximately 50 alumni from the last 25 years and in Taipei, a smaller group enjoyed lunch with the Dean and an update on the state of the School. At the alumni event in Japan, the Dean briefly borrowed a live husky dog from a pedestrian outside the event venue to the delight of the enthusiastic alumni crowd. In all three cities, alumni were very pleased with the Dean and his messages about the School

Our growing series of "road shows" to various cities in the U.S. combines outreach to alumni with company visits by MBAs in the job search and offers a chance for prospective UW MBA students in that region to meet current students and graduates.

The alumni events include presentations by the Dean or popular faculty members, updates from program staff, and a chance to connect with classmates and other UW Business School alumni in the area.

This year road shows go to New York, Los Angeles, Boise, Portland, Chicago, and two to the San Francisco Bay Area. More locations are planned for the future. Watch for an email announcing when we may be visiting your area.
