SEPTEMBER 2005

Entrepreneur University 2005, November 10

This is a great time to be an entrepreneur. The economy's improving, and investors are once again looking at innovative early-stage companies. Entrepreneur University 2005 is a one-day boot camp for entrepreneurs that features a list of well-known entrepreneurs as speakers, practical and relevant content, and networking with the local venture capital community. The UW Business School and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation are the campus hosts of Entrepreneur University 2005 on Thursday, November 10 in the HUB Auditorium.

EU 2005, produced by the Northwest Entrepreneur Network, captures the full breadth of the early-stage launch and growth process. The day features 18 breakout sessions - from developing your roadmap and defining your business model to getting the best people on board and making the smart marketing, finance, and operations choices.

Keynote speakers include Dan Brettler (CarToys) and Peter Van Stolk (Jones Soda). Other entrepreneurs on the agenda include Gary Roshak (Marchex), James Schmidt (Taco del Mar), Helen Rockey (Front Porch Classics), Mike O'Donnell (StartUPbiz), Alex Algard (cardomain.com), Sunny Kobe Cook (Sleep Country USA founder), Deepak Amin (Covelix), John Holt (Cobalt), and Michael Pickett (Onvia).
