Request for Alumni Input on UW MBA Identity Initiative
As the UW MBA program continues to climb in the national rankings, the current MBA students have initiated an effort to better define who we are as an MBA community. This "Identity Initiative" will clarify the values we hold and the differentiating qualities that a UW MBA should demonstrate.
We recognize that "professionalism" means different things to different people, so we are trying to find short anecdotes to clarify how a UW MBA acts out our core values (Excellence, Integrity, Involvement, Innovation, Collaboration, Professionalism). For example, one alum might say, "We hired a UW MBA student for a summer internship. This person displayed professionalism in the way that she was willing to roll up her sleeves and help with the mundane tasks as well as the complex analytical problems...".
Do you have an anecdote that illustrates how you've seen one of our Core Values properly or improperly demonstrated? If so, we'd really appreciate hearing from you! Please send your story via email to mikebean@u.washington.edu.
Thank you for your help!
