Business School Honors Top Faculty
Now that the 2004-05 academic year is a wrap, the Business School has bestowed its annual awards honoring the crème de la crème of teaching and research
The PACCAR Award for Excellence in Teaching went to Dan Turner.
The Dan Siegel Award for Service went to Jennifer Koski.
The Ron Crockett Award for Academic Excellence in Business, recognizing outstanding faculty performance that brings honor, distinction or stature to the Business School, went to David Burgstahler, who served as acting dean from January through May of this year.
William A. & Helen I. Fowler Endowment for Special Achievement/Recognition, recognizing outstanding achievement by a member of faculty, staff or the student body, went to Robert Bowen.
The Charles Summer Outstanding Teaching Award, selected by MBA and PhD students to honor the professor who exemplifies Professor Summer's attributes of wisdom, constructive criticism, high standards and personal integrity, went to Jennifer Koski.
The Dean's Faculty Research Awards went to Terry Mitchell, Terry Shevlin and Tom Lee.
The Dean's Junior Faculty Research Award went to Yong Tan.
The Wells Fargo Faculty Award, recognizing an instructor who has demonstrated unusually significant and meritorious achievement to undergraduate teaching, went to Jarrad Harford.
The Andrew V. Smith Faculty Development Award, recognizing significant and meritorious service to the Business School, was awarded to Mary Ann Odegaard, Judith Kalitzki and Jack Rhodes.
The Lex N. Gamble Family Award for Excellence in the Field of E-Commerce went to Xianjun Geng.
