    James Jiambalvo Named Dean of UW Business School
    James Jiambalvo, a UW professor of accounting whose research includes audit decision-making, the relationships between stock prices and information, and earnings management, has been selected by UW President Mark Emmert as the new dean of the University of Washington Business School.

    UW's MBA Program Advances to Nation's Top 20 Elite
    The University of Washington's MBA program has been ranked 18th among the nation's best business schools by U.S. News & World Report, advancing nine spots from last year's ranking by the weekly news magazine. The annual rankings appear in the 2006 edition of the book America's Best Graduate Schools.

    MBA Class Reunions Coming this Fall
    Planning has begun on the first annual MBA Reunion Weekend, September 23-24, 2005. This year's event will honor the classes of 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995 and 2000 in the MBA, Evening MBA, Executive MBA and all other master's degree programs offered by the Business School. Look for your invitation in the mail in late May.

    The MBA alumni and staff welcome the graduating class of 2005 to the alumni community during our annual spring BBQ. MBA alumni, students, faculty and staff are invited to this special celebration! We hope to see you there.

    34th Annual UW Coaches Tour and Husky Insider Banquet
    A Regional Scholarship Fund-raiser

    Come out, have dinner and get the inside scoop on Husky sports from Athletic Director Todd Turner, new Head Football coach Tyrone Willingham, Head Basketball Coaches Lorenzo Romar and June Daugherty and some of your other favorite Husky coaches. Help more students from your area get a great education at the UW. Net proceeds from Coaches Tour will go to academic and athletic scholarships for students from the respective regions.

    Tuesday, May 24, 1:30-4:15 p.m., HUB Auditorium
