Challenge for Charity Auction Raises Most Money Ever
University of Washington MBA students raised $128,000 at the Challenge for Charity Auction held, Friday, February 25th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seattle. This is the most money ever raised by UW C4C.
The Challenge for Charity Dinner & Auction Gala is the largest event of the C4C fundraising efforts. All of the proceeds from the auction benefit two charities - Special Olympics Washington and the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County.
The Challenge for Charity is a University of Washington Business School tradition and philanthropic organization sustained by eight of the top graduate business schools on the West Coast (Stanford, Berkeley, UC Irvine, USC, UCLA, UC Davis, Pepperdine, and UW) to encourage future business leaders to value the benefits of community involvement. For the last five years, UW C4C has claimed the coveted trophy - the Golden Briefcase - in recognition of their charitable efforts.
