Business Leadership Banquet a Great Success

Nearly 300 members of the business community, alumni, friends and patrons of the Business School gathered at the Westin on September 23rd to honor UW Business School alumni and business leaders. This premier annual event raises money for diversity scholarships.

The banquet featured a keynote address by Mike McGavick, chairman, president and CEO of Safeco Corporation. His keynote address, "Responsible Business Leadership: Special Times for an Eternal Need," may be viewed online through streaming video. (Windows Media Player required)

Leadership Awards were presented to Yoshihiko Miyauchi, MBA, 1960, and Stanley B. McDonald, BA, 1943.
