Business Leadership Banquet a Great Success

Nearly 300 members of the business community, alumni, friends and patrons of the Business School gathered at the Westin on September 23rd to honor UW Business School alumni and business leaders. This premier annual event raises money for diversity scholarships.

The Banquet featured a keynote address by Mike McGavick, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Safeco Corporation. Mr. McGavick's keynote address, "Responsible Business Leadership: Special Times for an Eternal Need" may be viewed on-line through streaming video.

The Leadership Award recipients were Yoshihiko Miyauchi, MBA 1960, and Stanley B. McDonald, BA 1943.
