Alumni Relations Manager Changes

The Business School and UWAA are proud to announce that Chris Marx, Alumni Relations Manager, has been offered a career opportunity to be the Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Relations for the Evans School of Public Affairs. Chris is also to be congratulated on a previous acceptance to the Midcareer Evening MPA program. She will continue her service to the Business School through May 24.

Chris has served as Alumni Relations Manager for the UW Business School for three years. This position was created in partnership with the UWAA. During that time she has developed a program offering a variety of opportunities for alumni to stay connected. She has worked with the Business School Alumni Relations Advisory Council and Class Agents to open communication channels by establishing an e-newsletter and weekly job leads as well as offering programs of interest to alumni. She has facilitated annual events such as the CEO Lunch Series, the State of the Economy Forum, Breakfast with Karma, the MBA Barbeque and Alma Balmer. Chris has brought energy and "can do" spirit to laying the foundation for our growing alumni program. She has been a vital contributor to the External Relations team and a resource to all members of the Business School.
