Larry Flax is co-founder, co-chairman and co-CEO of California Pizza Kitchen, which opened in 1985 and helped introduce innovative menus and California-style cuisine to the world of pizza. California Pizza Kitchen today boasts more than 210 restaurants. Prior to this venture, Flax was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Department of Justice, and chief of the Civil Rights Division of the Los Angeles U.S. Attorney's Office.
Mr. Flax is also the co-founder of LA Food Show, a family-orientated grill and bar in Manhattan Beach, Calif., owned by CPK. Mr. Flax also serves on the advisory board for FasterCures.
