Business Husky Networking Night

Co-produced by the UW Alumni Association, UW Business School.

An informal networking reception providing undergraduate business students an opportunity to talk to recent business graduates about their careers. The alumni volunteers will share information about their field of work and about the career path they took to arrive at their current position. In some cases, the volunteers may also be able to offer internship/job search tips, networking referrals, or internship/job leads.

When:Wednesday, November 8, 2006; alumni check-in 5 p.m., student networking begins at 6 p.m.
Where:Douglas Forum, Bank of America Executive Education Center on UW Seattle Campus
Cost:Free, but please register in advance.

Want to brush up on your networking skills before the event? Undergraduate Women in Business (UWiB) will be hosting a workshop Thursday, November 2nd, 12:30 - 1:20 pm, in Balmer 209. Location and Directions:
Bank of America Executive Education Center, UW Seattle campus. View a map of the Bank of America Executive Education Center location. From I-5 southbound, take the NE 45th Street exit (#169). Turn left onto NE 45th Street. Continue east about one half mile to 17th Avenue NE. Turn right onto the main campus. Stop at the gatehouse (Gate #2) for directions and a parking permit. The nearest parking lots are N4 and N5.

Please consider using an alternative to driving alone to get to events on campus.
