Blake Nordstrom is president of Nordstrom, one of the nation's leading fashion retailers. A fourth-generation family member, he began his career at an early age working in the stockroom of the downtown Seattle store. He worked his way up through the company, eventually managing two stores and overseeing the Washington and Alaska region. In 1995, he was named co-president of Nordstrom, with responsibility for operations, the shoe division, and Nordstrom Rack. Five years later he became president of the Nordstrom Rack group, and was appointed by the company’s board of directors as president of 105-year-old company.
