Jeffrey Brotman, '64, '67 Costco Wholesale Corporation

Jeffrey Brotman is chairman of Costco Wholesale, which he helped found in 1983 as the world's first warehouse membership club. Under his direction, Costco became the largest wholesale club operator in the U.S., with more than 445 membership warehouse stores serving more than 45 million cardholders in 37 U.S. states and eight countries. He is currently president of the UW's Board of Regents and has served on the board of directors of such companies as Starbucks Coffee and First National Bank/Bank of America.
