Class of 1954 50-Year Reunion
Did you graduate in 1954? The University of Washington Alumni Association invites you to join your classmates for the Class of 1954 50-Year Reunion! Return to campus, reconnect with friends and reminisce about years gone by.
The Class of 1954 50-Year Reunion features campus tours, socials, a luncheon and fun daytime activities as well as the chance to catch up with your former classmates.

Morning Reception - 10
a.m. - Center for Urban Horticulture
Reconnect with your classmates over coffee and refreshments before boarding a shuttle for one of three exciting tours.
Campus Tours – 10:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Choose one of these exciting campus tours to explore how UW has changed in the past 50 years! Take a guided tour of Suzzallo Library and its beautifully renovated Reading Room, the Paul Allen Library, Special Collections, and the historic “Defining Moments” exhibit of UW milestones in campus life and in the community. Spend time discovering UW Athletics facilities. Go behind the scenes at UW Medicine. Or, set off on your own campus adventure.
Luncheon Program - 1-2
p.m. - Center for Urban Horticulture
Enjoy a sumptuous lunch and no-host bar and hear what's in store for Husky sports from UW's new athletic director, Todd Turner. Professor Emeritus Thomas Pressly will be on hand to share his thoughts
about campus life today as well as author and retired journalist Shelby
Scates. Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations Connie Kravas
will be present to accept your class gift.
Social 2-3 p.m. - Center for Urban
Horticulture
Share your campus discoveries and memories with fellow classmates in an informal setting. Don't forget to bring a pen to write down contact information for friends old and new!

UWAA Homecoming Rally – Friday, Nov. 5, 8 p.m. Red Square. FREE! Fire up for the big game with UW students, alumni, the Husky Marching Band & Cheer Squad, and UW celebrities and dignitaries.
Homecoming Football Game – Saturday, Nov. 6, 12:30 p.m. at Husky Stadium, UW vs. Arizona. Call the Husky Ticket Office at 206-543-2200 for Class of '54 block ticket information.
Husky Huddle – Saturday, Nov. 6, three hours before kickoff inside the Dempsey Indoor practice facility next to Husky Stadium. Free admission. Call 206-685-3739 to reserve buffet tickets. Mention that you're a participant in the Class of 1954 Reunion and receive a special discount. Look for classmates in the reserved Class of '54 section!
Location & Parking
We are using the UW Center for Urban Horticulture as our hub for all events. All-day parking on Friday is included in your registration fee. The parking lot is just steps away from the building. The Center is located on the UW campus at 3501 NE 41st St. View a campus map showing the location of the Center.
How to find the Center for Urban Horticulture
From I-5: Take the N.E. 45th St. exit, follow east through the University District, past the UW campus and down the hill (viaduct). At the stoplight at the bottom of the viaduct, turn left to stay on N.E. 45th St. At the next stoplight, (5-way intersection), turn right (south) onto Mary Gates Memorial Drive. Continue south to the bend in the road (where Mary Gates Drive becomes N.E. 41st St.). The entrance to the center in on your right, at the large green sign. NHS Hall is in the first complex of buildings.
From SR-520: Take the Montlake Boulevard exit, and go north on Montlake Blvd. Continue across the bridge and past Husky Stadium, staying right as Montlake Blvd. curves east into N.E. 45th St. At the intersection of N.E. 45th St. and Mary Gates Memorial Drive (5-way stoplight), turn right (south) onto Mary Gates Memorial Drive. Continue south to the bend in the road (where Mary Gates Drive becomes N.E. 41st St.). The entrance to the center in on your right, at the large green sign. NHS Hall is in the first complex of buildings.

Join the Purple & Gold Society
The Purple & Gold Society is a University of Washington Alumni Association club for alumni who graduated from the UW 50 years ago or more. Please join them for the Annual Luncheon on Sunday, October 17. The event will feature a talk by new Husky athletic director Todd Turner.
