Attention, Husky wordsmiths! We need your help coming up with clever, team-specific slogans for souvenirs we'll be giving away at Washington Warm Ups. Past winners include "Ore-goners" (for the Oregon game), "Dawg is my co-pilot" (Air Force) and "WAZZ-WHO?" (WSU). Please submit your entries by August 7.
Thanks to all those who entered the Warm Up Slogan Contest! Winners will be notified by August 31. Be sure to come to our four Warm Up parties to see the winning slogan.
Contest Rules:
1) Maximum of three slogan entries per game per person
2) Slogans should contain less than 6 words and express Husky spirit and friendly rivalry (no obscene language, please)
3) Entries must be received by UW Alumni Association by midnight on Friday, August 7, 2009.
The four winning slogans (one for each away game except Notre Dame) will be selected by a committee of experienced Warm Up slogan creators (a.k.a. UWAA staff members). Winners will be notified by August 31.
The winners will receive free entry for two into the Washington Warm Up that their slogan was chosen for (does not include tickets to the game) and a copy of the book A Football Band of Brothers: Forging the University of Washington's First National Championship by W. Thomas Porter.
