Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to volunteer and give back to the alumni community, and the UW Alumni Association encourages all alumni and friends to get involved. Here are just a few of the ways you can volunteer through the UWAA:

Husky Career Network

Share your career journey and make a difference in the lives of fellow Huskies.

All UW alumni and friends are eligible to become Husky Career Network contacts and offer career assistance and advice to current UW students and UWAA members utilizing the Network.

As a Network contact, you'll:

  • Help Network users explore a career, industry or company
  • Provide information about your geographic area
  • Suggest additional contacts and offer job-search tips
  • Learn about other career-related volunteer opportunities

Get more information and sign up to volunteer.

Husky Career Network contacts will receive periodic Network updates from UWAA Career Services. In addition, contacts will be notified about additional career volunteer opportunities such as:

  • UWAA/OMA-D Career Mentor Program (annual-winter quarter)
  • UW Career Discovery Week (annual-winter quarter)
  • Husky Career Lunch (annual-spring quarter)
  • Alumni-student networking events on all three UW campuses (ongoing)
  • Alumni-student networking events in cities around the country with UWAA chapters or Proud Husky groups (ongoing)

For more information about these and other volunteer opportunities through UWAA Career Services, contact us at accmail@u.washington.edu or 206 616-0485.
