  • Organization
  • Location (state)

  • Metro area
  • UW school or college
  • Degree type (i.e. B.S.)
  • Major/concentration

  • Athletic team affiliation
  • How are the drop down lists composed?
Drop-down lists on the search forms consist of information describing currently active Career Connections contacts. If you don't see the information you're looking for in the list, there isn't currently a contact with that background.

    Look more than once
Look through the lists carefully before deciding the information you seek is unavailable. For example, in the "Organizations" drop-down list, you'll find UW under both "University of Washington" and "UW." You'll find Washington state agencies under both "Washington" and "WA."

    Search parameters
To encourage an even usage of networking contacts, search results are randomly sorted. An individual will only appear in a search result if his or her status as a Career Connections contact is set to "Active."

    Keyword searching (future improvement)

Soon you will be able to keyword-search personal career statements submitted by Career Connections contacts. This feature will be made available as soon as possible: we are in the process of collecting career statements from current and new contacts now.

If you are a Career Connections contact, please submit your personal career statement today by logging into Career Connections and clicking "Update Your Contact Profile."
