International Alumni

Be an international mentor

You don’t have to live in Seattle to make a difference in the life of a UW student. There are a growing number of opportunities for international alumni to mentor students and host internships both remotely and in-person.

Huskies@Work, the UW Alumni Association’s job shadowing program, is taking applications now. No matter where you call home, just tell us about yourself, and we’ll match you with a student interested in your field. Together, you’ll find a time in May to connect virtually. Here’s what one student had to say about the program, “It’s a fantastic opportunity to give back in a meaningful and tangible way. The opportunity to connect with students reminds us all of the importance of asking questions and that we should never stop learning!” Watch the video below to learn more or visit the Huskies@Work page to apply.

The Foster School of Business’s Global Business Center is looking to pair business students with global business for consulting projects during the 2018 spring quarter. If your business is looking to expand globally or dive into specific international markets, a team of 3-5 students can assist you with research, analysts and finding solutions. For more information about the program or to apply, contact Josina Garnham at josinag@uw.edu.
