About UW Science Forum
Hosted by the UW Alumni Association, College of Arts & Sciences, College of Engineering, School of Medicine, Office of Research, College of Ocean and Fishery Sciences, and the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, the UW Science Forum lecture series highlights renowned University scientists in four lectures, free and open to the general public, that are designed to be easily understood by people with a high school science background.
In this popular event, University of Washington science faculty reveal recent research findings and discuss their impact on science and society. Lectures are held in April and May of each year, attracting 700 people per night.
