Program Description
First Day is the alumni association's way of welcoming new and returning students to the start of the new school year. UWAA staff and volunteers hand out coffee, bagels and campus maps to students as they arrive on campus on the first morning of fall quarter.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Help with set-up and clean-up
- Serve coffee and bagels to students, pass out campus maps and answer questions
- Represent the UW Alumni Association
Dates and Locations
First Day is held on the first day of school in the fall quarter (check here for the current UW academic calendar). Two stations are staffed - Red Square from 8 - 11 a.m. and the Montlake parking lot from 7 - 10 a.m.
