Paul Rucker & Chuck Blumenfeld

After leading the UW Alumni Association as executive director since 2007, Charles "Chuck" Blumenfeld officially retires this month, though he's been a part of the University and the UWAA for decades. Chuck grew up in the Montlake neighborhood and later received his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University. After graduation, he became one of the first environmental lawyers in Seattle, and was an active alumni association volunteer long before taking over as executive director. Thanks, Chuck, for your dedication and passion for all things purple and gold. You'll be missed!

Paul Rucker Begins as Executive Director

As executive director, he brings more than 16 years of experience in higher education administration, specializing in international development and institutional advancement. Paul is honored to head the UWAA and is excited to work with campus leaders to further the UW's mission of education, research and community.
