//FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE//
SEATTLE (February 26, 2002)

Joel Domingo, '91
Alumni Relations Manager for Academic Programs
Joel joined our staff in early November and will be working closely with our academic clubs and the academic leadership council.
Joel graduated from the UW with a degree in Psychology and has a master's in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has held administrative positions at Seattle Public Utilities, Seattle Pacific University and Regent College Foundation.

Greg Lewis, '93
Alumni Relations Manager for Athletic Programs
Greg was hired in mid-November to build programs reconnecting former student athletes through the Big "W" Alumni Club and other channels. This is a shared position between the UWAA and the athletic department.
Greg is well known to Husky football fans as an all-American running back. Following three years with the National Football League's Denver Broncos, Greg worked in the insurance industry and was branch manager for a local home lending company before coming back to the UW.

Bryan Daisley
Special Events Coordinator
Bryan has been working with our academic clubs on a temporary assignment since mid-August, and we are thrilled to have him join us on a permanent basis as a special events coordinator. Bryan hails from Fox Island and is 2000 WSU graduate with degrees in Economics and Spanish. We've already begun deprogramming Bryan to turn him into a Husky loyalist.
Cathy Deckard, '90
Alumni Relations Manager for Geographic Programs
Cathy moves to this position from her role as UWAA special events coordinator, where she had spent the previous 18 months. Cathy will continue to expand our reach to domestic and international alumni through local chapter activities and special programs.
Rachel Seeley
Travel Assistant
In response to the increase in popularity of alumni travel, Rachel joined the Alumni Tours department recently to assist with customer service and administration. Rachel is a recent graduate of Western Washington, and worked with the Western Foundation while a student in Bellingham. More recently, Rachel worked with Horizon Airlines as a reservations agent.
Other staff changes:
Communications Specialist John Scroggs, '88, is leaving the UWAA at the start of January to take a job with Cocker Fennessey, a public affairs firm in Seattle.
