SEATTLE (April 30, 2001)—The UW Coaches Tour, a golf tournament and dinner event produced and sponsored by the University of Washington Alumni Association in conjunction with the UW Athletic Department, makes its way around Washington state as well as to Portland from May 7 through June 11.

Now in its 31st year, this annual event provides a chance for alumni and friends across the Pacific Northwest to join with Husky coaches and administrators for an afternoon of golf, followed by a social hour and dinner for both golfers and non-golfers. The UW Coaches Tour will raise money for scholarships for students in Washington and the Portland area.

Husky football coach Rick Neuheisel is scheduled to participate, along with many other Husky coaches. Organized by various alumni chapters and clubs throughout Washington and in Portland, this event is open to all UW graduates and friends.
