Washington State Contract Airfares
General Information

The contract airfares listed below end December 31, 1996. Fares are
applicable on
tickets purchased by December 31, 1996, for travel completed by January
31, 1997.

If a destination is not listed, the contract requirements and provisions do not
apply.

Fares identified by "City Pair" are for a one-way flight in either direction
including point of departure and destination. Fares do not include the
Passenger Facility Charge.

All fares quoted are unrestricted (YCAWA) coach class; no
restrictions
apply (i.e., no advance purchase necessary, no minimum length of stay, no
refund restrictions, etc.) YCAWA are applicable for all available seats
on a given flight in coach class. Contract carriers will not discriminate
against any State travelers in favor of higher fare tickets paid by other
travelers on any given flight on any given seat or block of tickets.

airfares are shown in the fourth column below and are

state, and local taxes and surcharges customarily included in the fare
structure.

air carrier's price for service) exclusive of taxes and fees.

Under a law passed in 1990 and administered by the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA), United States airports can be authorized to charge a Passenger Facility Charge (PFC)
to finance airport-related projects. The maximum authorized charge is $3.00 per departure,
with a maximum allowable total charge of $12.00 round trip per ticket. Since this is an
airport charge and the airline is merely a collection agent, it has not been calculated into
published fares at this time and is therefore in addition to the state contract fares.
