What numbers appear on my
BAR? (Budget Activity Report)
eProcurement assigns two
numbers:
Requisition number -
example: S37
A requisition number is
assigned to each requisition. A requisition number
begins with "S".
This number will appear
on invoices from University Stores.
Order number - example: EP55
After a requisition is
approved, the requisition is assigned an order number
that begins with "EP".
The order number appears
on packing slips from vendors, on invoices from
University Stores, and on the BAR.
How do I setup eprocurement
as a favorite?
This takes a couple steps to
setup properly in Internet Explorer. First, login to
eProcurement and then click add to favorites. Next, go to your
favorites list and find the new favorite. Right click on the
favorite and click properties. Click the Web Document tab.
Change the URL to https://ar.admin.washington.edu/AribaBuyer/uw/login.asp.
Click OK.
When I try to access a
vendor's catalog, it tells me Access Denied.
To view some vendor catalogs,
you need to set your browser to Accept Cookies. See
Accepting Cookies for information on setting cookies.
Does eProcurement encumber
orders?
eProcurement does not currently
encumber orders.
Can I view the catalogs
without registering?
Anyone with a valid UW Net ID
and Password can view the catalogs .
Can I retrieve an e-quote in
Dell using eProcurement?
Yes. When you enter the Dell
catalog, you can click on "Retrieve E-Quote" in the upper right
hand corner.
Can I setup shopping lists
for vendor catalogs?
This will depend upon the
capabilities of each vendor. You will need go to your vendor of
choice, click on "Buy From Supplier", and then create a shopping
list in the vendor's catalog.
What are toggle tips?
(located on the black toolbar)
Toggle tips are the gray help
screens at the top of each screen. You can turn toggle tips off
and on by clicking on Toggle Tips on the black toolbar.
How do I set a default budget
number or default delivery address?
Sometimes when I am in
eProcurement my screen goes white and I lose all the graphics.
This is a known problem and will
be addressed in a future software service pack. In the meantime,
if you encounter this, close your browser and restart
eProcurement in a new browser.
