Return Policy
University personnel responsible for initiating an order
will contact CLP customer service department for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) and shipping instructions for defective products
or for products ordered in error. All goods must be returned within 35 days of shipments. All returned goods will be inspected before
credit is issued. If goods are rejected upon inspection, in whole or in part, the University will be notified and the goods will be
returned or destroyed at the University’s request. Non-catalog/web items and made to order products may be subject to a restocking
charge. Items not eligible for return, unless the product was defective when received, include discontinued products, personalized
or custom products, refrigerated or temperature controlled products, outdated, shelf-worn, or used products (not in salable condition),
reagents, diagnostics, or chemicals that have been opened, items supplied as an accommodation, including without limitation,
third- party purchases, broken thermometers or any material containing free mercury Returns accepted for items ordered in error
by customer may be subject to a 20 % restocking fee, unless identified above as excluded.
Freight
CLP will ship all catalog items FOB Destination, prepaid and absorbed by CLP for standard delivery. Premium next-day delivery
and other special handling will be provided at the request of the University and the associated cost will be fully absorbed by the
University. These costs will be determined based on product selection at time of purchase. Additional freight charges and special
handling charges, if applicable, will be included
as separate line items on each invoice. Special charges may include Hazardous Materials Fees, Blue Ice Fees, and Dry Ice Fees, fuel
surcharges, can and poison pack packaging and reusable container deposit.
