Minimum Data Security Standards:
Data Classification and Related Measures of Protection
(Approved by the Provost and Executive Vice President by authority of Executive Order
No. 4, Senior Vice President for Finance and Facilities by authority of Executive Order
No. 5, and the Vice President of UW Technology by authority of Executive Order No. 63)
Enforcement of these minimum data security standards is the responsibility of the UW Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the PASS Council, with support from the Risk Management, Internal Audit, and UW Technology units. Failure to comply with these standards may result in disciplinary action up to and including denial of access to information systems and data, and/or termination of employment at the UW.
