    1. Is there a mortgage assistance program?
      Yes, Hometown Home Loan Program is a partnership with the UW, Continental Savings Bank, and the City of Seattle.

    2. Can I be reimbursed for moving my boat?
      No, boats, canoes, jetskis, snow machines are not allowable. You can ship them but you will pay for them.

    3. How long will it take to get reimbursed?
      Approximately 2-3 weeks. Reimbursements are processed by the  UW Payables Office.

    4. Why was I reimbursed less than I paid?
      You either exceeded what is allowed per the state or your move exceeded the dollar limit imposed by your hiring dept.

    5. What are my personal tax obligations?
      Everyone's tax situation is different, so consult with your personal tax advisor or contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for Publication 521 Moving Expenses, a downloadable PDF from the IRS website.
