The Basics of eProcurement

What is eProcurement?

Harnessing the power of the Internet, and implementing the latest technologies, UW eProcurement makes ordering office, lab and research supplies fast and convenient.

With a click of the mouse, you can place orders using online, full color catalogs containing thousands of office and laboratory products.

Can I use it?

Authorized University personnel can use it. Obtain authorization from your department or school Administrator. See Roles for more information on what roles are available.

What vendors are available?

See our vendor list for the list of vendor catalogs available in eProcurement.

How do I get access?

Have your administrator or department director contact us at 685-3558 or email us at  eprocure@u - or fill out a Registration Request.

Why use it?

It's easy, quick and convenient. eProcurement has:
  • An intuitive, user-friendly web-based ordering process.
  • Illustrated Stores stock catalog and outside vendor catalogs with UW specific pricing (e.g. Dell, VWR, Office Depot)
  • Enhanced functionality - budget splitting, robust searching, workflow routing for departmental review and approval, requisitions history, and standard reports.
