With Online Map Production, Web Development provides quality maps that can be used online for a variety of display purposes. We can help your department or office create an online map that highlights:

Campus maps are traditionally used to guide guests, students, alumni, faculty and staff to indoor and outdoor locations and events. They can also be used to bring attention to facilities and services.

Web Development has access to several popular campus maps used in print production. Re-purposing these for the use on the internet is a snap. Using conventional illustration tools combined with 3 years experience in map illustration, we can create a variety of maps - from highly detailed maps backed by an online database to simple GIF maps highlighting specific buildings on campus.

Combining Web Programming Services with Online Map Production

Web Development can set up a database driven map that can maintained online without the knowledge of HTML. For example, if you have events, lectures or seminars that take place at several locations on campus you can edit the locations, times and descriptions of these events without getting your hands dirty in HTML. The database will point to pre-drawn maps used for each event. Link to your event schedule and maps from your department website home page!
