Creative Communications FTP Tutorial

You can use a variety of downloading software, including Fetch and SSH to ftp your electronic files to Creative Communications for printing. Your Account Manager can assist you with this process.

Macintosh Users: Please send Macintosh files as MacBinary. If you are sending many files or large files you may wish to compress them into a single Stuffit archive before transferring them.

Step 1: Get a Creative Communications FTP Account

• Fill out the online application

Step 2: Get FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Software

• Download FTP software for Windows (download now)
• Download FTP software for Macintosh (download now)

Step 3: Log on to our FTP server

• Log on with SSH FTP for Windows (recommended)
• Log on with WSftp for Windows
• Log on with Fetch for Macintosh

Step 4: Send and Get Files from the Server

• Sending files to Copying directory  (Mac -- Fetch | PC -- WS FTP | PC -- SSH FTP)
  
• Retrieving files from Copying directory  (Mac -- Fetch | PC -- WS FTP | PC -- SSH FTP)
  
  
• Sending files to Printing directory  (Mac -- Fetch | PC -- WS FTP | PC -- SSH FTP)
  
• Retrieving files from Printing directory  (Mac -- Fetch | PC -- WS FTP | PC -- SSH FTP)
  
  
• Sending files to Mailing directory  (Mac -- Fetch | PC -- WS FTP | PC -- SSH FTP)
  
• Retrieving files from Mailing directory  (Mac -- Fetch | PC -- WS FTP | PC -- SSH FTP)
