Creative Communications FTP Tutorial

Log on to Creative Communications FTP server (Windows)

Start up the SSH FTP program (Windows), and click the Quick Connect button. Enter the following information into the Connect to Remote Host box:

• Host name:   www.pubserv.washington.edu
• User ID:   myUserName (confirmed with Creative Communications)*
• Port:   22
• Authentication Method:   Password

The final result should look something like this:

Next, you'll be prompted for your password*. Once you've entered your password, you'll be authenticated to the FTP server.

You can now add a profile for the FTP site. Simply type a name for the profile into the Add Profile box and click the Add the Current Connection to Profiles button.

Once you have created a profile, you can connect to the FTP server in the future simply by selecting the enty under the Profiles button. Enter your password when prompted.
