Creative Consultants Network

Life just got a lot easier. Creative Communications' Creative Consultants Network now gives you instant access to some of the area's most in-demand writers, photographers, editors, illustrators and designers.

Not only have we found the best-of-the-best from which to choose, our contracted, pre-qualified list has eliminated your need to go through standard purchasing procedures to contract or release payment for these professionals.

How does it work?

Working to your specifications, we identify the candidates best suited for your project. You review portfolios and interview the consultants. If you would like us to check specific references, we're happy to do that, too.

We have already negotiated favorable rates with members of the Creative Consultants Network and will further solicit a project bid. Upon your approval, we will issue the purchase order, and process payment. The time and money you will save by procuring a writer, editor, photographer, illustrator, or designer through the Creative Consultants Network is huge. The service fee is nominal.

How are members of the Creative Consultants Network Selected?

Committees of communications professionals from major campus departments along with select Creative Communications staff worked in teams by specialty to review and rate hundreds of portfolios. The candidate's experience and work samples were judged based on their ability to demonstrate the skills most relevant to the needs of University of Washington clients. Their experience with higher education and the reasonableness of their fees was also taken into consideration. The result is a pre-qualified list of professionals selected and contracted to provide their services to UW departments through the Creative Consultants Network.

How can I, or someone I know, be included in the Creative Consultants Network?

The application process is currently closed. From time to time we do accept proposals. If you are interested in being notified when the application process is open, please e-mail srbaker@u.washington.edu indicating your name, address, phone number and RFQQ #KH 03-56.

It is important to understand that being part of the pool is not a guarantee of work.
