UPS
Tracking Numbers
UPS Tracking numbers for express mail shipments are now showing in the
"Original Merchant Name" column in the transaction listing pages
on your JP Morgan Chase account. The "Original Merchant Name"
field is a new column added to the transaction listing screen. It is located
in the primary viewing area (to the right of the merchant state column),
replacing the previous "Trans Merchant Name" column, which has
been moved to the far right of the screen.
Vendors often add additional information after their name making it difficult
to query "is equal to" when searching for vendor purchasing
history. JPMC scrubs the additional information (i.e. tracking numbers)
from the "Trans Merchant Name" field. Keeping this field in
the transaction listing screen allows users to query that field, allowing
for greater vendor query flexibility.

EIO
and Transaction Limits
ProCurement Card transaction limits are set at $2000 because potential
equipment, needing to be inventoried does not automatically download into
the Equipment & Inventory system for their review and approval. That is
why we have a $2000 (or $1838.00 base price including shipping charges
but prior to taxes) transaction limit on all cards. On a case by case
basis the ProCurement Card staff can approve purchases under $3000 if
the item being purchased is not equipment. Cardholders must have prior
approval from EIO to purchase equipment with a ProCard.

Tips
Fraud
Charges on Grant Budgets
Fraudulent transactions are investigated by JP Morgan Chase's Fraud department.
Their research and resolution period varies widely depending on the type
of fraud and vendor cooperation of which we no control over. As a best
practice we would recommend transferring the fraudulent charges from the
grant to a departmental budget which can hold the charges in the interim.
This can be done at PaymentNet prior to the monthly payment or with a
Journal Voucher after the charge has posted to the BAR.

What
Address is the Merchant Requesting
Merchants are requesting your UW department address. To locate the address,
select PaymentNet from your JPMC welcome page. Next, select the menu drop
down box in the middle top portion of the screen. Finally, select your
profile, it will list the address associated with your JPMC account.
