Shuttle Services

NightRide (www.uwshuttles.com) is a U-PASS sponsored shuttle service for students, faculty and staff. Passengers can board the NightRide from any one of six on-campus stops and be dropped off at any requested location within the two shuttle zones. Schedules are prominently displayed at all stops, and schedules are available at information kiosks around campus as well as online. Wheelchair-accessible shuttles service both zones. University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) Security Officers provide an escort for university employees from the UWMC second floor east entrance to the nearby parking lots. This is a free service provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To arrange for an escort, contact UWPD dispatch at 685.UWPD and let the dispatcher know when you will be ready to depart from the above location. Husky NightWalk also provides escorts. The hours of operation for these uniformed security guards are 6:00 pm-2:00 am, 7 days week. Although aiding primarily on foot, the guards have a minivan available to assist when needed. In addition, they are equipped to help people, with proper identification, who cannot get into their offices, work areas or vehicles. They also can assist with jumpstarts for dead batteries.
