Fingerprinting

The University of Washington Police Department will fingerprint any current student, staff or faculty member who needs to be fingerprinted for employment or teacher certification. Immigration or concealed weapons permit prints will not be taken. The Department is located in the Bryants Building (UW campus map: G14 on the: Southwest Campus Map) at 1117 N.E. Boat Street, which is a few blocks south and west of main campus.

Fingerprinting Hours By Appointment Only:

Monday 2:00 - 4:00pm, Tuesday 9:30 - 11:30am and Thursday 2:00 - 4:00pm
Call (206) 543-0507 to arrange an appointment during one of these time periods. ***When you schedule an appointment, please indicate whether you can be printed on LiveScan or if your prints must be taken with ink.***

Prior arrangements can be made to accommodate special needs, but these arrangements must be made in advance and are dependent on availability of staff. Call (206) 543-0507 to arrange a special appointment.

The fee for fingerprinting is $7.00 (cash only) per card with no limit to the number of cards. Citizens must provide their own fingerprint cards. Please bring picture ID.
