Building Watch Program

The Building Watch Program provides detailed information to Building Coordinators and the UW Community about the number and types of crimes occurring. It is invaluable for members of the community to be aware of the occurrences in and around their buildings, including parking lots. The Building Watch Program is sent via email on a monthly basis.

Husky NightWalk Program - 685-WALK (9255)

The new Husky NightWalk Program that started May 29, 2007 is a uniformed guard assistance program that uses full-time security guards to assist students, staff, and faculty members to various locations on campus and within a one-mile radius off campus. Although aiding primarily on foot, the guards have a mini van available to assist personnel via vehicle when needed. In addition, they are equipped to lend a hand to people, with proper identification, who cannot get into their offices, areas, or vehicles for one reason or another. They also can assist with jump starts for dead batteries, and are extra eyes and ears in parking lots and other UW facilities. When members from the campus community need help, call 685-WALK.
