The University of Washington offers a wide range of amenities to enhance your participation in the University Community. UW employees have free access or discounted participation to many facilities and services within and around campus. Below is a brief description of some of them.

Libraries

UW Libraries is one of the premier research libraries in North America. With your Husky Card, you have free access to the collections in over 20 branches on the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bothell campuses.

Performing Arts

UW employees are eligible for discounted tickets to many of the performances offered by:

Museums and Galleries

With your Husky Card, you can enjoy free access to the exhibits at the Burke Museum and take a friend or family member to the Henry Art Gallery without charge. In addition, there are exhibits at the School of Art.

UW Combined Fund Drive

You have the opportunity to participate in the UW Combined Fund Drive, our annual workplace giving campaign. What’s your passion? Feeding the hungry, animal welfare, the planet? You can support your favorite charitable nonprofits and get involved in community-building activities through the campaign. Choose your method of giving via ongoing payroll deduction or a one-time gift, online or by paper giving form.

Other Resources

The GET Program allows Washington State Employee families to buy college tuition units now, which can be applied towards your child's future education.

The University Bookstore offers a patronage refund on purchases and academic discounts are available to UW employees on selected computer hardware and software.

The Washington Huskies Sports Programs have special ticket plans for UW employees.

The UW Recreational Sports Program offers UW employees access to a wide variety of athletic and exercise opportunities and facilities.
