Keep a Steady Hand

Those who excel at archery possess superior balance, concentration, and long-distance vision and are able to keep a steady hand even in adverse situations. Those same traits can help you be successful when faced with unexpected or unwelcome change. In this interactive course, examine effective and ineffective methods of dealing with change, explore a framework for managing psychological needs during times of change, and commit to new choices in reacting to change. Register for Navigating Change in a Complex World.

Give Yourself an Edge

No cyclist can modify the slope of a hill or change the direction of the wind to their advantage. However, competitive cyclists strive to understand and make the most of the conditions they operate in, put themselves in an optimal position in each race, and kit themselves out with the best gear available. Along the same lines, you may not have control over your entire organization, but you have the power to influence various aspects and functions. In this half-day workshop, examine your work environment, learn how to create the right conditions for achieving your goals, and draft a plan for making a change in your workplace culture. Register for Understand and Influence Your Work Culture.

Swim in the Fast Lane

For competitive swimmers, every second—or even fraction of a second—counts. Become the Michael Phelps of your office by reducing wasted effort, streamlining your actions, overcoming obstacles, and beating performance records, all by exploring the underlying mindsets of process improvement and learning a simplified approach to "lean" as taught in this one-day workshop. Register for Rapid Process Improvement.
