Changing an Employee’s Name


When an employee officially changes his or her name, the name should be changed in both the payroll system (OPUS) and the Online Work/Leave System (OWLS).


Once an employee’s OWLS record has been set up, a name change will not happen automatically.  When the employee's name is changed in OPUS, you or the employee must contact to have the change made. The request must include the following information:
