You must have your UW Husky Card (official University ID card) to get your U-PASS. But if you need transportation before you get your U-PASS and don't want to bother with the expense and hassle of parking on campus, you can take the bus on us.
New employees can receive 10 free bus tickets good for Metro Transit or Community Transit . To get the bus tickets bring your Employee ID number to a Parking Services office. Each ticket is good for a free, one-way trip. These tickets are only for your use as a new employee and are not transferable.
Wherever you are traveling from, let the Transportation office personalize your commute. Find out there is more than one way to get here.
It's easy to get a U-PASS. One of three Commuter Centers on campus can help you get started. Select to purchase a quarterly or an annual U-PASS depending on your job classification. For those eligible, payroll deduction is the easiest way to pay; you won't have to return in person every time your sticker expires.
For many commuters, biking is the quickest and easiest way to get to the UW. We have excellent bicycle facilities and the biking web page has information about racks, lockers and showers. With a U-PASS you can extend your trip by taking your bike on the bus.
