UW ARC 360 is a 360-degree feedback and development program based on competencies created by POD for specific roles at the UW: Chancellors, Deans, and Executive Directors; Mid-Level Managers; Front-Line Supervisors; and Individual Contributors. Participating in 360-degree feedback — a process in which you rate yourself and are rated by others on a set of competencies — allows you to see yourself from many different perspectives, gives you insight into others' perceptions of your contributions and abilities, and provides direction for your development.
You will be guided through the feedback process by a POD coach. Your coach will work with you to recognize both essential strengths and potential areas for development, and will help you clarify goals and put them in the context of your current job and future career aspirations.
UW ARC 360 is designed to be a tool for development and is not meant to be part of the annual review process. Only participants and their coach see the report; participants then choose what part of their report to share with their manager or others. Your POD coach will help you consider which information to share with others and the benefits and risks of such sharing.
