UW ARC 360

UNDERSTAND

To be successful as a leader, you must be effective in many different areas. Participating in 360-degree feedback — a process in which you rate yourself and are rated by others on a set of competencies — allows you to see yourself from many different perspectives, gives you insight into others' perceptions of your leadership abilities, and provides direction for your development.

UW ARC 360 is a 360-degree feedback and development program based on competencies created by POD. Currently UW ARC 360 is available for mid-level managers and includes 12 leadership competencies developed for individuals in that role at the UW. POD plans to expand ARC 360 to include assessments for front-line supervisors and individual contributors.

The program fee for UW ARC 360 for Mid-Level Managers is $375 and includes:

Your POD coach will partner with you so that you can more objectively view the information collected through the process, will work with you to recognize both essential strengths and possible weakness, and will help you clarify goals and put them in the context of your career aspirations so that you have a starting point for conversations with your manager.

UW ARC 360 is designed to be a tool for development and is not meant to be part of the annual review process. Only participants and their coach see the report; participants then choose what part of their report to share with their manager or others.
