An Introduction to UW ARC 360 (V0250)

Are you a mid-level manager who is ready to Assess, Reflect, and Commit to your leadership development? This event offers an introduction to 360-degree assessments and an opportunity to participate in the new UW ARC 360 feedback process and follow-up peer coaching.

UW ARC 360 includes a 360-degree assessment based on leadership competencies developed by Professional & Organizational Development for mid-level managers at the UW. The UW ARC 360 program, which is being rolled out this fall, comprises a 360-degree assessment, a report with assessment results, and 1.5 hours of one-on-one coaching through POD; the fee for participating in this program will be $375. However, through this special introductory event, you can participate in UW ARC 360 and 1.5 hours of peer coaching for $225 (including a boxed lunch).

Before attending the event, participants will:

Participate in the ARC 360 feedback process, which includes an online assessment that participants, their managers, and a minimum of 3 direct reports, 3 peers, and others of their choosing will complete.
Receive a report via e-mail that shows how each group (e.g., direct reports) assessed them and how that compares to their own assessment.

At the event, participants will:

Learn about the power of perception and how to manage others' perceptions.
Discover how leaders benefit from increased self-awareness.
Explore the leadership competencies developed by POD for mid-level managers at the UW.
Participate in 1.5 hours of peer coaching to debrief about the feedback process, discuss the report findings, and plan next steps for their leadership development.

The registration deadline is Monday, October 12 (You will need to get us names of your raters by that date to allow time for the 360-degree assessment and report processing). After registering, participants will receive an e-mail from POD about lunch selections, as well as an e-mail about giving us the names of those you select to rate you and how to get started with the ARC 360 assessment.
