Process Improvement Tools (Q1170)

This fast-paced and interactive course demonstrates how to apply traditional lean manufacturing and process improvement tools in an office setting. Within the context of the Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle of continual improvement participants will have an opportunity to see how tools such as 5 S, cause and effect diagrams, affinity diagrams, checklists, and flow charts can allow them to become more effective in process improvement efforts.  Participants will leave with a conceptual framework and specific tools to reduce the causes of rework and associated costs, and increase satisfaction with their teams’ outcomes.
