Winning at Work (Q1140)

A big part of getting things done at work is bringing people on board — whether that means they're following recommended processes, assisting you with tasks, collaborating as a team member, or sharing in your ideas. In this interactive course, you'll gain skills to more effectively deal with challenging people, and you'll discover how to develop rapport with colleagues in order to generate options, solve problems, and achieve your goals. You'll also learn about the triggers that can undermine your confidence, as well as some of the ways that language and behavior influence perception. Through hands-on exercises and in-class practice, you will explore how to influence others without using manipulation or pressure tactics and how to adjust your approach so that you can win at work!
